Michigan Association of Student Financial Services Administrators

Welcome to MASFSA! My name is Daphane Young, and I am very honored to be the 2023-24 MASFSA President. If you’re looking to connect with education professionals and third-party agencies well versed in higher education, rules and regulations, then look no further.

While embracing our new normal following the pandemic, the way each of us shows up to work has changed. This change poses a question, which inspired the theme for this year’s conference, “The Future of Higher Education.” Our conference will include guest speakers who will answer your questions like, “What does the future of Higher Ed look like?” and “What does it look like in terms of business?”  Where do we see it going?. We will also bring you content based on feedback from last year's conference, and upcoming survey responses.  Our Conference will be held at The Kensington Hotel in Ann Arbor, MI  48108 this upcoming May 19-21st, 2024. Get ready to be inspired, as we dive into what we believe is the new normal for higher education, and future plans for us in the education field. We invite you to join our membership here: Join Us! If you sign up to come to the conference your membership fee will be included!

For this upcoming conference, we want to make sure everyone finds something that aligns with their interest in the industry. Our goal is to broaden everyone’s knowledge by furthering their development as business professionals in Higher Education. We hope that MASFSA will provide everyone with the skills and tools needed to support each department.  Our group is ready for your support and are willing to assist you with gaining a better understanding of how all departments align for the success of our students.

Learning from one another and valuing one another’s views and opinions has been why we love to work with our board of volunteers. Your participation and support for our school does not go unnoticed. I look forward to seeing all of you at our 2024 Conference. It will be one to remember!
